Description Support the Finance Manager in managing day-to-day financial management of the company. Responsible in handling/supervising end-to-end general accounting functions and preparation of Financial Statements and other management reports. Analyze business operations, trends and costs and ensure compliance to government reporting and remittances. Key responsibilities
Maintain accounting systems and records;
ensure timely preparation/ performance of financial statements, reports and accounts analyses and reconciliations.
Enforce policies and procedures ensuring compliance with internal and statutory accounting standards and control requirements.
Perform detailed review of the Company’s financial packages, financial statements, journal entries and account reconciliations. Resolve or escalate issues in a timely manner
Perform balance sheet review, research and resolve accounting and tax concerns.
Monitor compliance with various (e.g. purchase, sales, loans, etc.) contracts with business partners.
Perform credit management and control
Perform inventory accounting, monitoring and management, including periodic physical count, reconciliation and closing procedures
Supervise cost accounting methods and process to ensure accurate costing and reporting
Oversee the accounting, monitoring and safeguarding of Company assets (inventory, fixed assets, etc.). Prepare analysis to support capital expenditure requests.
Preparation and performance monitoring of periodic estimates and annual budget and long term plan.
Performs cost/benefit analysis, sensitivity analysis and pricing and profitability reviews.
Manage tax compliance and ensure timely filing of all Government-related reports or remittances.
Interface with internal/external auditors, tax examiners and other statutory officers for inquiries, reviews and audits.
Other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 4 years combined relevant experience in accounting, budgeting and financial analysis;
with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity, preferably in a manufacturing company.
Preferably Certified Public Accountant
Adept and well-versed in accounting standards and tax regulations
Excellent Excel skills
Highly analytical with critical thinking ability, keen to details, strong communication and interpersonal skills, out-of-the-box thinker
Trustworthy, result- oriented, detailed, proactive and persistent
Able to work under pressure, effective multi-tasking and time-management skills
Performs efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines
