Job description

Description This position is responsible in monitoring transport ( air, ocean, logistics) activities pertain to actual transport of goods, the timely dispatch of pick-up and deliveries and direct coordination with subcontracted transport personnel and ensure they comply with existing standards of quality service. Duties To perform daily inspection of vehicles prior to dispatch;
determine physical and mechanical condition to ensure vehicles good running condition and project an image of professionalism To assist in planning and scheduling and dispatching of vehicles. To monitor shipment status;
ensure timely transport of goods from the pick-up point to delivery point. To religiously update all pertinent databases to ensure all information gathered are captured and stored in the officially designated databases only. To properly file, update and safekeep all pertinent information, data, documents/reports from the day to day transactions. To coordinate with the account representative on all issues pertaining to the deliveries and ensure timely and proper resolution. Qualifications Graduate of any 4 year course, preferably related to Logistics/Warehousing Must have at least one (1) year of related work experience Preferably residing within Parañaque area Good communication skills both oral and written Proficient in the use of MS Office Applications (MS Word, PowerPoint especially Excel) Customer and Service Orientation;
